CircuPilot is an AI-powered platform for electronic circuit design, schematic generation, circuit simulation, and embedded development. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you visit or use circupilot.com.
We aim to collect only the information reasonably needed to operate, secure, and improve the service. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use advertising trackers.
1. Information We Collect
Information You Provide
Depending on how you use CircuPilot, we may process:
- Circuit descriptions, prompts, and instructions submitted to the AI.
- Circuit designs, simulation inputs, code, and conversation history saved in your account or session.
- Images or sketches submitted for circuit recognition.
- Feedback, support requests, and messages you send us.
- Information submitted in connection with a voluntary contribution, where applicable.
Please do not submit passwords, payment-card details, confidential information, or other sensitive information in circuit prompts or support messages unless it is specifically required and the service provides an appropriate mechanism.
Account Information
You may be able to use certain features without creating an account. If you sign in using Google, authentication is handled through the configured authentication provider, such as Firebase Authentication.
We may process account identifiers and associated information needed to authenticate you, maintain your account, and provide account-related features. We do not receive your Google password through the normal Google sign-in flow.
Technical and Usage Information
When you access CircuPilot, our systems may process technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, request timestamps, and service logs.
We may also record operational events, including circuit generation requests, simulation attempts, errors, and usage-limit events. This information helps us operate the service, enforce usage limits, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and improve reliability.
We may collect aggregate visit statistics, such as page-view totals and referral sources, to understand how the website is used.
2. How We Use Information
We use information for the following purposes:
- Generating and modifying circuits in response to your requests.
- Producing schematics, netlists, simulation results, and embedded-development outputs.
- Saving and retrieving designs or conversations when the relevant feature is available and you choose to use it.
- Operating accounts, usage limits, and access controls.
- Maintaining security, detecting abuse, and diagnosing errors.
- Responding to support requests and feedback.
- Understanding overall product usage and improving the service.
- Processing and reconciling voluntary contributions, where applicable.
- Complying with applicable legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information to advertisers.
3. AI Processing and Third-Party Services
CircuPilot uses third-party infrastructure and AI services to provide its features. Depending on the feature, configuration, and availability, these may include Google Cloud, Firebase, Google Gemini, and AI models accessed through OpenRouter, including models provided by third parties.
When you request AI-assisted circuit generation, modification, image recognition, or related functionality, relevant parts of your prompt, circuit data, image, code, or conversation may be transmitted to the service provider needed to process that request.
These providers process information under their own applicable terms, privacy policies, and service configurations. Their data-handling practices may differ from ours.
We do not promise that every third-party provider follows identical retention, training, or processing rules. Please review the relevant provider's terms before submitting confidential or sensitive information.
4. Images and Uploaded Files
Images and sketches may be processed to identify circuit components and connections and to generate a corresponding circuit representation.
We aim to process uploaded images for the requested operation rather than retain them as a permanent image library. However, temporary processing, application logs, error diagnostics, or third-party service handling may occur.
The exact retention and deletion behavior depends on the current implementation and the services involved. Do not upload confidential images or documents unless you are comfortable with the applicable processing arrangements.
5. Saved Circuits, Conversations, and Shared Links
Depending on the features you use, CircuPilot may save circuits, conversations, or related information so that you can return to your work.
If you create a shareable circuit link, people who obtain that link may be able to access the associated content. Do not treat a shareable link as confidential unless the relevant feature explicitly provides access restrictions.
You are responsible for reviewing the content of a shared circuit and deciding whether to share it.
Saved content may remain available until you delete it, request deletion, or it is removed under an applicable retention policy. Technical backups or security records may persist for a limited period where necessary for legitimate operational or legal purposes.
6. Cookies and Browser Storage
CircuPilot may use cookies, local storage, session storage, or similar browser technologies to support authentication, remember preferences, maintain guest sessions, enforce usage limits, and operate the application.
For example, a random guest identifier may be stored in your browser so that the service can associate requests with a guest session.
Clearing your browser data may remove local preferences or guest identifiers, but it does not necessarily delete information already stored on our servers.
We do not use advertising trackers. If additional analytics or third-party technologies are introduced, this policy will be updated where appropriate.
7. Payments and Voluntary Contributions
CircuPilot may offer optional, one-time contributions to support development and infrastructure.
If you make a contribution, we may process information such as the selected amount, currency, transaction status, transaction reference, and contact details needed to administer the payment or respond to a payment-related request.
Payment information may be processed by the payment service provider involved in the transaction. Where the provider handles payment-card details directly, those details should be submitted through the provider's designated payment interface rather than sent to CircuPilot by email or through circuit prompts.
The information actually collected depends on the payment method and integration in use. We do not claim that payment-card information is never processed or stored unless the active integration and its documentation confirm this.
Payment records may be retained as necessary for reconciliation, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, accounting, and legal compliance.
8. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose or transmit information in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: To hosting, authentication, AI-processing, payment, and other providers needed to operate the service.
- Security and abuse prevention: Where necessary to protect CircuPilot, its users, or its infrastructure.
- Legal obligations: Where disclosure is required by applicable law or a valid legal process.
- Business changes: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or transfer of the service, subject to applicable requirements.
We aim to limit disclosures to what is reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.
9. Data Retention
We retain information for only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, subject to operational requirements and applicable law.
Our current intended retention periods include:
- Usage and diagnostic records: up to 30 days, where supported by the applicable logging configuration.
- Daily usage-limit records: up to 90 days, where applicable.
- Inactive guest identifiers: up to 90 days, where applicable.
- Saved circuits, conversations, and feedback: until deleted, requested for deletion, or otherwise removed under the applicable retention process.
- Payment and transaction records: for the period necessary to manage transactions, resolve disputes, meet accounting obligations, and comply with applicable law.
Actual retention may vary by system, backup, third-party provider, and legal requirement. We will not claim that a record is deleted within a specific period unless the relevant system and configuration support that commitment.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, and alteration.
No online service or method of transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We therefore cannot promise absolute security.
You should keep your account credentials secure and avoid submitting confidential or sensitive material that is not necessary to use the service.
11. Your Choices and Privacy Requests
Depending on the features available to you, you may be able to delete saved conversations or shared circuits within the application.
You may also contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your use of CircuPilot. We may need to verify your request before taking action.
Some information may need to be retained for legitimate security, transaction, dispute-resolution, or legal purposes. Where applicable, we will explain any relevant limitation.

12. International Processing
CircuPilot uses third-party infrastructure and AI services that may process information in countries other than your own. Depending on the provider and service configuration, information may be subject to the laws applicable in those locations.
Where required, we will take steps appropriate to the applicable legal requirements for such processing.
13. Children
CircuPilot is intended for users aged 13 and over. Users must comply with any higher minimum age or other requirements that apply under the laws relevant to their use of the service.
