By accessing or using CircuPilot, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the service.
1. About CircuPilot
CircuPilot is a software platform that provides AI-assisted electronic circuit design, schematic generation and editing, SPICE simulation, and embedded-development tools.
Features may change over time. Certain features may be experimental, subject to usage limits, or available only to particular users or plans.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old, or meet any higher minimum age required by applicable law, to use CircuPilot.
Some features may require an account. You are responsible for providing accurate information when required, maintaining the security of your account, and activities performed through your account to the extent permitted by applicable law.
You must not attempt to bypass access controls, usage limits, or account restrictions, or use another person's account without authorization.
3. Permitted Use
You may use CircuPilot for lawful electronic design, engineering, educational, research, and prototyping activities.
You agree not to:
- Use the service for unlawful purposes or to violate third-party rights.
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data.
- Interfere with or overload the service or its infrastructure.
- Circumvent usage limits, security controls, or payment requirements.
- Introduce malicious code or attempt to compromise the platform.
- Misrepresent AI-generated results as independently verified engineering results.
- Use the service in a manner that violates applicable law.
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, its users, or its infrastructure, subject to applicable law.
4. AI-Generated Designs and Simulation Results
CircuPilot uses AI models and software tools to generate or modify circuit designs, code, schematics, netlists, and simulation outputs.
AI-generated results may be incomplete, inaccurate, unsuitable for a particular application, or inconsistent with real-world component behavior. Simulation results also depend on the circuit representation, component models, solver configuration, and assumptions used.
You are responsible for reviewing and validating designs before using them in physical hardware or other real-world applications.
Always verify component ratings, pin assignments, electrical limits, power requirements, and relevant datasheets. Do not rely solely on CircuPilot for safety-critical, life-critical, or other high-consequence applications.
CircuPilot does not guarantee that every generated circuit will compile, simulate, function as intended, or behave identically to a physical implementation.
5. Intellectual Property
CircuPilot's website, branding, interface, original software, and other materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws, subject to any third-party rights or licenses.
Except where expressly permitted by law or by the relevant license, you may not copy, redistribute, reverse-engineer, or commercially exploit protected parts of CircuPilot without appropriate authorization.
You retain any rights you hold in the prompts, circuit descriptions, source material, and other content you submit. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights to submit that content for processing.
Subject to third-party rights, applicable law, and any separate license terms, you may use the circuit designs, code, and other outputs generated for you. AI-generated outputs may not be unique, and similar or identical results may be generated for other users.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of your pre-existing intellectual property to CircuPilot. Likewise, submitting content does not transfer ownership of CircuPilot's software or branding to you.
6. Saved Content and Sharing
Some features may allow you to save, retrieve, or share circuit designs and conversations.
You are responsible for deciding whether to share a design and for checking the content and access settings before distributing a link. Anyone who obtains access to a shareable link may be able to view the associated content, depending on the feature's implementation.
We may remove content or restrict access when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, or enforcement of these Terms.
7. Third-Party Services
CircuPilot relies on third-party services for functions such as hosting, authentication, AI processing, and payment processing.
The availability and behavior of these functions may depend on third-party systems, service limits, model availability, or changes to third-party terms.
Your use of third-party services may also be subject to their own terms and policies. CircuPilot does not control every aspect of their operation.
8. Availability and Changes
We aim to maintain a useful and reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or permanent availability of any specific feature.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, impose reasonable usage limits, or perform maintenance as needed. Where required by applicable law or a separate agreement, additional obligations may apply.
9. Voluntary Contributions and Payments
CircuPilot may offer optional, one-time contributions to support its ongoing development, infrastructure, and component integrations.
Unless expressly stated otherwise at the time of payment:
- A contribution is a one-time payment, not a recurring subscription.
- A contribution does not purchase ownership in CircuPilot or grant governance rights.
- A contribution does not guarantee access to future paid features, special privileges, or specific development outcomes.
- The selected amount and currency will be presented before you confirm payment.
- Payments are subject to the applicable payment provider's terms and the CircuPilot Cancellation and Refund Policy.
If a paid subscription or other paid product is introduced in the future, its specific terms will be presented separately where applicable.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, CircuPilot is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
We make no guarantee that AI-generated circuits, simulation results, code, or other outputs will be accurate, complete, fit for a particular purpose, or suitable for physical implementation.
Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, CircuPilot will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the service, including losses associated with reliance on unverified circuit designs, simulation outputs, or generated code.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law, including liability that cannot legally be excluded.
You remain responsible for independently verifying designs and for the safe use of any hardware built from them.
12. Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in the CircuPilot Privacy Policy, which forms part of the information governing your use of the service.
Please review that policy to understand how information is processed, retained, and shared with service providers.
13. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using CircuPilot at any time.
We may suspend or restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, respond to abuse, address security risks, comply with legal obligations, or enforce these Terms.
Where appropriate and legally permitted, we will take reasonable steps to communicate significant access restrictions.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms as the service evolves or legal requirements change. Updated Terms will be published on this page with a revised date.
Your continued use of CircuPilot after changes take effect constitutes acceptance only to the extent recognized by applicable law. Where additional notice or consent is legally required, we will follow the applicable requirements.
15. Applicable Law
These Terms are subject to applicable law. Nothing in this section is intended to remove mandatory legal protections or consumer rights that apply to you.
